Yes, that's true - and much appreciated! I'm sorry I haven't had time  
to follow up on this.

In my mind, there's a place for several kinds of resource: a full  
manual is certainly needed, but we could also benefit from brief  
introductory notes suitable for a one-page README, or a first-run  
"getting started" splash screen, or pages suitable for online help.

Mea culpa.... I had intended to get a new build out earlier, but  
haven't had the time. I wish building on Windows were simpler....
