[texworks] Spell checking

Hi,

I installed the dictionaries for English and French.

When I define one language as the default language for spellcheck and I 
open a document, if I ask to check the system just completely close.
After that I can open TeXworks, but if I try to load a file, everything 
again disappear.

I have to start TeXworks, change the preferences to nothing, close 
TeXworks and open again to be able to open a document.

Any help?
