It should work to drag files onto the application icon already. But
I'm guessing you mean drag a the icon of file (from Finder/Explorer/
Nautilus/whatever) onto an existing TeXworks window, and it opens in a
new window of its own?
There's always a chance :-) ..... the chance will improve if you put a
feature request on the tracker, as that means I'm more likely to
remember it!
