Dear Mr. de Souza,

unfortunately since we are neither friends nor colleagues, the
traditional and correct approach of referring to people using their
last name and title as a form of respect and courtesy remains in
place, and rightly so.
The modern fake and artificial pretence of democratization and
equalization of everybody's position, status and relationship in
life is just another consumistic whim of a capricious West where
there are not enough real problems. We can see the consequences in
the American campuses, for example.
Thereby, I confide in your understanding and I will maintain a
professional and respectful distance until a deeper or working
relationship is established.

Regarding the problem mentioned in my query, I have solved it by
formatting my computer.
Texshop now works. I hope this does not occur again.

Best,

David Edward Bruschi
thank you for your email.
I have the latest version of TeXshop, operating on an iMac
that is 2 years old.
Notice that it worked flawlessly until Thursday last week.

What happens now is that every time that I open a .tex
file with TeXshop, or just load TexShop per se, the
computer becomes non responsive, the Magic Trackped
deacivates, the Bluetooth seems particularly to fail, and
the computer either works after some time, freezes
completely or restatrs on its own. I have never seen
anything like this in 14 years.

I tried to reinstall MacTex and TeXshop but to no avail.

I hope that you will help me with this.
Best,
