By far the most reliable way is to write a transformation from your XML to LaTeX in XSLT3. This gives you complete control over what gets transformed to what. You do have to learn XSLT, but this (like LaTeX) is a life-skill.

Hi All,

I would like to know what is the best practice for xml typesetting in latex. As per the checking in MikTeX by default xmltex concept is available. Is there any other way to do the same. if so what are the practical difficulties.

Thanks
Prasad
