[texhax] about Latex on SL 6.2

Hello,
I'm Djamel Ghaffor, assistant teacher at the ENSET-University, Oran, Algeria. I'm beginner in Scientific Linux 6.2. and I'm asking in the best compiler for Latex on this system. I got Texmaker but I still have some problems with it.
