Just to satisfy my curiosity... I see that pdftex has created two bitmapped versions of the font: ./pal10.720pk and ./pal10.600pk. According to the log, it seems to use only the former of these. How does pdftex figure out what dpi should be generated and/or used for bitmapped fonts created with mf? Doc
