[texhax] title in header

Is it possible in
\documentclass{article}
get the argument of the
\title{this writing}
and put it in
\fancyhead[LO, RE]{     }
in a fashion like \fancyhead[LO, RE]{\thepage}
in oppose to
\fancyhead[LO, RE]{  this writing   }
