[texhax] Suppressing page number in sidewaystable.

I have a pair of large tables (both of which I include in a single
table environment) that
are a bit long for a page (even when rotated). The page number
appears in between the
two tables, and I would like to simply suppress it. But I can't
figure out how to do this.
Using \thispagestyle{empty} seems not to work, nor do other ideas
which have been
suggested to me.

Can rotating.sty be hacked so as to make the page number not be
printed? Well, I'm sure it
can --- it's just that I don't speak TeX well enough to work out how
to do this.

Would it be possible for someone to give me a simple recipe for such
a hack?

TIA.

				cheers,

					Rolf
