[texhax] Modifying margins for large tables/figures

I have been generating both ps and pdf's.  I have been using pdflatex for my pdf generation.  In the end we will probably choose to use the pdf format exclusively.  Thanks for the assistance.

Using what product, pdftex, pdflatex or Context?  The answer is 
different for each choice.
