[texhax] beamer prosper powerdot

Hi, tex'ers.

I use LaTeX, and use the beamer package to produce slides for my lectures.

I can't seem to get a firm handle on which package is best for what.  What
do you guys use?  which one do you like best, and why?  i'm considering
moving from beamer to powerdot, but want some input before i learn a new
package, etc.
