the only thing i can see, that you might be missing, is a comment in
the caption for the table of languages available, that says that html
and xml are "preliminary".

indeed.  in fact the output one gets seems to me little better than
that from using \verbatiminput.  or perhaps even slightly worse, given
the odd words (random words?) set in boldface...

my editor (nothing special, just emacs sgml-mode) does that for me.
