[texhax] installing tex

To Whom It May Concern,

 

I just bought protext (with miktex and winedt) and tried to have it
installed on my office computer. I keep getting the following error:

 

Permission denied, the filename database cannot be created. Package
installation failed

 

The tech administrator and myself have tried to troubleshoot but we
can't figure it out. Any ideas?
