As I've noted previously. Between the available on-line documentation, 
the excellent FAQ, and a judicious use of http://groups.google.com 
searching the archives of the usenet newsgroup comp.text.tex I've been 
able to solve pretty much every LaTeX problem I've ever encountered.

Things which one can't find using the above references typically 
involve:

  - consulting the source (typeset yourself a copy of source2e.pdf)
  - doing independent research 'cause it's not been solved yet
  - finding better search terms 'cause you're using the wrong search 
terms
