The current AMS related packages are "amsmath", "amssymb", "amsthm" and a 
few others. Most TeX distributions include documentation on these. For 
example, "amsldoc.dvi" for amsmath.

The "LaTeX Primer" avaiable at

	www.sarovar.org

also contains chapters on amsmath and amstheorem.
