Details:

I am using XeTeX from CTAN TeX Live 2016. This is the example code.

\documentclass[paper=a4,
               twoside=false,
               fontsize=12pt]{scrartcl}

%% Sprache
\usepackage{polyglossia}
\setdefaultlanguage[spelling=new]{german}

\usepackage{blindtext}

%% Document %%
\begin{document}
\Blinddocument
\end{document}

Then I called from bash
 mk4ht oolatex 4httest.tex

It created the output below. I think there is a problem with XeTeX. Somebody
on the mailinglist suggested it could be because XeTeX modify the "structure
of the DVI file". I don't know.

Please try to remove "polyglossia" from the code and try again. Then it
works.
