[tex4ht] oolatex and pictures

I have a tex document with graphics created by tikz and I need to
generate odt format. I also tried to generate png or jpeg file from
tikzpicture and use \includegraphics instead. In both cases opening
with LibreOffice (or NeoOffice on Mac) shows "missing plugin" icon -
and no picture. Sure I can manually insert this picture - but may be
there is a more direct way?
