things work in Linux and in Windows are different, but that was
not my point. If MS Word can generate and display a new PDF when
the previous PDF is already open in Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Acrobat
Reader, then surely it must be possible for a Windows-based TeX
tool chain (e.g., TeXworks + XeTeX) to do the same. Would you not
agree ?<br>
