Karl is correct, but just in case there is also the option to recreate<br>
the tlpdb from the tlpobj files which are saved into<br>
        ROOT/tlpkg/tlpobj/<br>
You can all<br>
        tlmgr recreate-tlpdb<br>
This MIGHT help and should be the last resort, and something might get<br>
lost, but you can get a halfway working tlpdb back.<br>
<br>
Then you can run<br>
        tlmgr update --self<br>
        tlmgr update --all<br>
<br>
And after that a <br>
        tlmgr check<br>
might be good idea I guess.<br>
