<p>May I respectfully suggest that "a landscape version of [a] known
page format" is not intrinsically meaningful [1] ? And may I
therefore also suggest that it be replaced by something along the
lines of the following ?</p>

<p>[1] The CDC Fortran compiler documentation stated that it would
accept a mis-spelled DIMENSION statement. A bug report was
therefore submitted that it would not accept DAIMENSHUN where
DIMENSION was required, DAIMENSHUN clearly being a mis-spelling
of DIMENSION. What CDC had <i>really</i> meant was that it would
accept DIMENTION in place of DIMENSION.<br>
