<p>There <i>are</i> pre-compiled binaries — I use nothing else.
Whilst, when I was a VMS user, I would regard compiling a program
from source as the most natural way to do things, with MS Windows
I expect pre-compiled binaries and would have no wish whatsoever
to compile someone else's program[s], tho' I might very
occasionally want to compile my own.</p>
