i got curious and gave it a try, too.

on my pbx i get:

:; svn ls -v https://tug.org/svn/texlive/trunk/

svn: E170013: Unable to connect to a repository at URL 'https://svn.tug.org:8369/texlive/trunk'
svn: E000113: Error running context: No route to host

and on my laptop at home i get:

:; svn ls -v https://tug.org/svn/texlive/trunk/
