[BUG] Cannot proceed without the font: [...].woff2 problem

According to the provided link
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=263072, the author's thesis ran
successfully on a working environment they no longer have access to.

There may be a texlive issue here. Getting identical results on different
machines across space and time was one of the goals Don Knuth set himself,
and achieved. If the author's report of the error is correct, then we have
a problem of this nature.

If the author has a friend at the institute who can run the thesis, that
friend can do a great favour. Namely send the author's thesis sources and
ask that tex be run with the --recorder command line option. This will
create a fls file which contains a list of all input files. (See
https://linux.die.net/man/1/tex.)

It would be very helpful if we could have a de facto standard for Portable
Tex Documents. It has two main parts. The first is a listing of all
resources needed to typeset the document. This listing should give the
secure hash for each resource. The second is a way of instantiating the
resources.
