New explcheck tools fails on macOS/cygwin (Linux?)

Dear Joseph, Lars, and Max,

I have released the fixed version of explcheck on CTAN on 2024-12-09.
I don't see the fixed version on my TeXLive mirror [1] yet but I expect it
to be available any day now.
