If the font is present, as you already wrote, then

voss at shania:~$ luaotfload-tool --find=firamath -F
luaotfload | resolve : Font "firamath" found!
luaotfload | resolve : Resolved file name 
"/usr/local/texlive/2019/texmf-dist/fonts/opentype/public/firamath/FiraMath-Regular.otf"


should giǘe a similiar output.
