Can't install tl2019 - UI broken

I could reproduce this. The error message appeared when I removed
the year component and then pressed Ok. I'll look into it.

The rationale of the directory selection dialog is that it offers a
way to browse for at least the parent or grandparent of the intended
installation root, instead of just a plain text entry box for
entering the path.

On Linux, the three blank buttons are successively titled OK, Skip
Messages and Details >>.
