Many thanks for that, and my sincere apologies for putting you to 
unnecessary trouble.  I was not trying to determine SHA-512 checksums 
for myself, but rather trying to suggest that possession of a full TeX 
Live 2019 installation does not guarantee that one also has a 
"sha512sum" utility as I (clearly wrongly, with the benefit of 
hindsight) thought from your earlier message :
