Here (Windows 7 64-bit Enterprise), "XeTeX begrüßung" causes XeTeX to crash. No error message, just "XeTeX has stopped working" (etc.). "XeTeX begrßung" is fine, but"XeTeX begrüung" dies in the same way. Philip Taylor
