[tex-live] ngerman.sty - Undefined control sequence

    eplain
    \input ngerman.sty
    ...
    \declare at robustcommand ...\csname \bbl at stripslash

Interesting. It is apparently related to running eplain as a .fmt,
since a one-line file:
  \input eplain \input ngerman.sty \end
run with (e)tex does not yield the error. I will look at it as soon as I
have a chance. Thanks for the report. --karl
