[tex-live] pdflatex core dump

1) Please send the ./figure_fsteps.pdf that causes the crash. Trying to
build gnuplot doc to reproduce is not appealing. Certainly be good to
have on hand in any case.

2) Is this with the sources currently in TL, or (modified) suse sources?
As Akira and Norbert said, both new poppler and new xpdf(v4) have
problems of various indeterminate kinds, due to intentional introduced
incompatibilities.
