[tex-live] status of citesort.sty ?

David Carlisle kindly responds to my question about citesort.sty:

Thank you!  I even have comments about cite.sty written in my copy
of the LaTeX Companion, but I had completely forgotten about that
package.  I'm revising my writing to replace mention of citesort
by cite.
