[tex-live] texlive 2017 seems to be installing in /usr/local/texlive/2016??

Have a look at <http://ftp.math.purdue.edu/mirrors/ctan.org/systems/texlive/
tlnet/tlpkg/texlive.tlpdb>. You will see, it's still TeX Live 2016.

You should wait at least till tomorrow. A lot of mirrors still have TeX Live 
2016.
