I would say that it would be a reasonable feature request to add the
version of Lua to the end of this list:

$ luatex --credits
This is LuaTeX, Version 1.0.4 (TeX Live 2017)
The LuaTeX team is Hans Hagen, Hartmut Henkel, Taco Hoekwater, Luigi Scarso.
LuaTeX merges and builds upon (parts of) the code from these projects:
/.../
Compiled with libpng 1.6.29; using 1.6.29
Compiled with zlib 1.2.11; using 1.2.11
Compiled with poppler version 0.52.0
Compiled with mplib version 2.000

It should be pretty straightforward to do that and the list is way too
long already, so another line would not even be noticeable :).
