I've just updated some performance plots and dropped them at

	http://www.math.utah.edu/pub/texlive/ftp.math.utah.edu.pdf
	http://www.math.utah.edu/pub/texlive/www.math.utah.edu.pdf

They show 5.4 years of traffic outbound from those two hosts.

Our current connections are:

	machine-room servers to building switch: 1Gb/s
	building switch to campus backbone: 10Gb/s
	UofUtah campus backbone to Internet: 40Gb/s

The bottleneck in our building cannot be resolved until a major
hardware upgrade of the central fileserver, possibly this summer.

Still, 1Gb/s is about 100MB/s, or 360GB/hr, or 8640GB/day, as a
maximum possible, whereas our peak outbound FTP is rarely 500GB/day,
and usually about 300GB/day.

What we don't yet have is minute-by-minute network bandwidth reports;
I'm looking into whether data are available to produce them.
