[tex-live] ERROR: cannot build FMT files since update to TeXLive 2016 (Linux: OpenSuSE)

Dear all,

my system is OpenSuSE Leap 42.1, with the following repositories as its
base: <https://github.com/gunnersson/my_archive/blob/master/repos.repo.txt>.

Since my update to TeXLive 2016 I cannot build needed FMT files any more.

The log
<https://github.com/gunnersson/my_archive/blob/master/fmtutil-sys_--all.log.txt>
says
"! I can't find file `pdftexconfig.tex'."
and
"! I can't find file `pdftexconfig.tex'."
as well as
"! I can't find file `loadhyph-af.tex'."

This did not happen before.

Any ideas, any help? Very appreciated. TIA (many thanks).
