[tex-live] 2016 or 2015?

Mario Chiari <ml at mariochiari.net> asks today about installing TeX Live 2016
while preserving the 2015 version.  That is certainly possible; I have
TeX Live versions back to 2003 on some of our servers here.

>> Loading /usr/local/texlive/2015/tlpkg/texlive.tlpdb

It looks like your install-tl script is coming from the 2015 release.

You can empty the environment with "env -i" and then set PATH appropriately:

# env -i PATH=/path/to/texlive/2016:/bin:/usr/bin install-tl --gui=text
