[tex-live] impossible to update TeXLive 2016 pre-pretest with tlmgr

Every time I try to update my 2016 TeXLive pre-pretest installation to the recently released pretest (on Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.4) via the command line tlmgr, namely

sudo tlmgr update --repository ftp://ftp.math.utah.edu/pub/texlive/tlpretest/ <ftp://ftp.math.utah.edu/pub/texlive/tlpretest/> --all

I get the following error message:

Unknown directive ...containerchecksum c59200574a316416a23695c258edf3a32531fbda43ccdc09360ee105c3f07f9fb77df17c4ba4c2ea4f3a5ea6667e064b51e3d8c2fe6c984ba3e71b4e32716955... , please fix it! at /usr/local/texlive/2016/tlpkg/TeXLive/TLPOBJ.pm line 210, <$retfh> line 5579.

This happens with all the repositories in TeXLive’s web. Could this be fixed, or I just need to erase my installation and install the pretest from scratch?
