last i corresponded with him, he was giving listings up. so we're
retraversing the same loop as we did when that occasion happened.
i seem not to have marked him inactive, in the catalogue. (the trouble
with an information resource is that people inevitably pick up the
mistakes...)

so we've to keep on looking.
unfortunately, no-one of my acquaintance even uses it (as far as i
know). having glanced at the code, my guess is the maintainer will
require personal "user experience" as well as (la)tex programming
skills.
