    The shapepar package ships some user-contributed shapes in the form
    of *shape[s].def files. In TL, these files are put in
    doc/generic/shapepar/, whereas they should be in
    tex/generic/shapepar/.

Thanks for the report, but ... hmm.  We intentionally moved the
*shape.def files from the runtime to doc, back in 2006 (r1957), because
that is where teTeX had them.  I don't know if that was just random, or
was Donald's desired location.

Donald, direction please?
