[tex-live] kpsewhich on windows, the values of TEXMFVAR and TEXMFCONFIG

Some time ago I asked for methods to ask a TL installation as to where the texmf-var and texmf-config folders are

The suggestion I got was to use

kpsewhich -var-value TEXMFVAR
kpsewhich -var-value TEXMFCONFIG

Now I've tested those, and was a bit surprised by the answer

c:/Users/daleif/.texlive2012/texmf-var
c:/Users/daleif/.texlive2012/texmf-config

and not the expected

c:/texlive/2012/texmf-var
c:/texlive/2012/texmf-config


How do it to give me the later?
