[tex-live] tlmgr 2013 for OS X | undefined PATH in TLUtils.pm

my e-mail was intended to be more of a bug report than a request for help but thank you for your quick reply anyways!
I run OS X 10.6.8 with all updates and installed TeXLive via the MacTeX installer. I update TL2013 nightly with a script and have done the same occasionally with TeX Live Utility.app. The problems I described don't seem to pose a serious problem (for me) since tlmgr seems to regress to generic values for those variables that fit my configuration and hardware. However, it might be a problem for other users.
Changing line 302 of /usr/local/texlive/2013/tlpkg/TeXLive/TLUtils.pm from
chomp (my $sysctl = `sysctl hw.cpu64bit_capable`);
chomp (my $sysctl = `/usr/sbin/sysctl hw.cpu64bit_capable`);
worked for me. I have done so before until an update to TLUtils.pm ironically
“broke” my solution. So I thought this would be something of interest to the developers.
Another thing that comes to my mind is the reason why I used the TeX Live Utility.app: When my internet connection is down while tlmgr is in the progress of updating, all packages in need of an update (I think, maybe others as well) are forcibly removed by it. I used TeX Live Utility.app to reinstall them. I doubt this behaviour is intended so this might also be of interest to the developers.
