Stupid me. I just couldn't wait for it to finish. Now I got

but still the same error. I deleted \texmf-config\web2c\updmap.cfg to
start from scratch. The first updmap-sys creates that file with the
first Map entry. After that all subsequent calls fail:

updmap.pl has been updated (time stamp of the file is 21.05.2012 09:25)
but the svn string says $Id: updmap.pl 26369 2012-05-14 15:00:53Z preining $.
