[tex-live] TL'12 pretest status

FYI, TL'11 is now frozen forever.  The final tlnet is at
ftp://ftp.tug.org/historic/systems/texlive/2011/tlnet-final/ as with
previous years.  The live tlnet on tug and CTAN is the same as this
TL'11 tlnet-final, and will remain so until the release of TL'12.

We are starting the pretest for TL'12:
http://tug.org/texlive/pretest.html.  However, don't rush to install it,
since no new binaries have been committed yet (among other reasons).  In
a few days will be soon enough to give it a try.

We will continue to update normally from CTAN for at least a few more
days, perhaps a week or even two, but the updates will go to tlpretest
and not tlnet.  (So, LaTeX 3 people, you should hold off on updating
CTAN if you don't want your new version to be on the DVD.  I wasn't
entirely clear on the plan from Joseph's message to latex-l.)
