[tex-live] XeLaTeX: synctex offset in TL2011

Hello,
I'm using TexLive 2011 (via MacTeX 2011) on OS X.  After creating a PDF
document with XeLaTeX, syncing back-and-forth between source and PDF
doesn't work right -- there is a significant offset.

I found a discussion of this from many months ago, and it seems to be my
problem exactly:

There is discussion of a patch.  Is this something I can apply as a user,
or is there something that can be updated via TL Utility?

Thanks for any help.  I'm not a list subscriber, so I'd appreciate being
