[tex-live] TeX-Live 2012 sys_info and sys_man

Hi,
A small question regarding the defaults for sys_info and sys_man. The command `tlmgr option showall'  reports:
...
Destination for symlinks for info docs (sys_info): /usr/local/info
Destination for symlinks for man pages (sys_man): /usr/local/man
...

It seems that both /usr/local and /usr/local/share are used, depending upon the distribution, and typically /usr/localman symlinks to share/man.   But I've yet to see the reverse, i.e., /usr/local/share/man symlinked to ../man.  So might not /usr/local/share be a "safer" default for sys_man and sys_info?
