[tex-live] missing format files in texlive 2007

Ok, I guess that is because the old kpsewhich needed
	--format 'web2c blabla'
or so , the automatic detection was added later.

Anyway... as you wrote below that is correct.

Huuu??? That is very strange ... do you have any files in
	/etc/texmf/fmt.d/
???

If not then something is seriously messed up on your system. There should
be several files!!!
