Hi,
I tried to get the listbib package running and discovered some oddities
in its TeX Live incarnation:
find . -iname "*listbib*"
gives the following files within the dist tree:
tex/latex/listbib/listbib.sty
tex/latex/listbib/listbib.cfg
source/latex/listbib/listbib.ins
source/latex/listbib/listbib.dtx
source/latex/listbib/listbib.drv
source/latex/listbib/listbib-doc.drv
doc/latex/listbib/listbib.tex
listbib.tex isn't documentation but a file supporting the listbib
shell script and should IMHO be found by kpsewhich and therefore go
to tex/latex/listbib/?
doc/latex/listbib/listbib-doc.pdf
doc/latex/listbib/listbib.doc
doc/latex/listbib/listbib
This file is a shell script. Should it be executable? I don't know
the TeX Live policy concerning such scripts, but some similar
scripts are symlinked from the bin directory, what would IMO make
sense also in this case.
Additionally, the listbib package uses a listbib.bst file which is
neither part of the TeX Live installation nor on CTAN as far as I can
see (also not in the dtx), maybe a CTAN maintainer follows this list ...
Regards, Chris
