catalogue entry, same name as distribution directory (unless there's a
clash)

(i presume you mean mirror.ctan.org -- ctan.org is a low bandwidth
mirror, and shouldn't be listed explicitly, other than for the catalogue
switcher.)

as i said, the directory holding the package (i.e., that one) will need
to be renamed.
