[tex-live] Is there a way to get mtmi.tfm font?

but without buying a copy of mtmi, you can't install it as a system
font.  however, mtmi isn't for sale anywhere, that i know of.

i know how to install fonts in a tex installation so that the tex system
can use them.  i _don't_ know how to install a font so that acrobat can
use it.  nothing in mt11p is going to help acrobat; if you had the .pfb
files, they might do the job if you installed them in a windows system
fonts folder; but you don't have the .pfb files, unless i misunderstand
you.  (and i don't know whether you are using a windows system.)

(or at a similar place on any other ctan mirror) doesn't help, since it
doesn't contain the .pfb files.
