Wild guess: a problem with ghostscript. What OS do you use? Was ghostscript
installed by package manager?

I see the similar message and segfaults from ghostscript on all my
systems (Archlinux, x86_64) when I use ghostscript compiled from GIT
repo (using the same settings as package maintainer). But if I use
ghostscript installed by package manager (pacman) it works fine.

Could you try other version of ghostscript.
